Captain Preston's Version Of The Massacre
The people in Boston did not like his Majesty's troops. The colonists told lies about the British troops. There had been many arguments and fights between the colonists and the British troops. Hatred of the troops grew daily. One freezing day in March in 1770 one of the kings soldiers was looking for some extra work to earn extra money. Someone started making fun of him and said to get a job cleaning toilets. One thing lead to another and on the evening of March the fifth two soldiers were attacked and beaten by the townspeople. Then the townspeople rang the alarms that were supposed to be for fire. One of the soldiers said the colonials were planning to attack the soldiers....
